The Crown of Leaves is an engaging blend of non-kinetic visual novel and point-and-click adventure, set in the mystical world of Shang-La. Players follow Roui, a city dandy and half-educated jeweler, who returns to his homeland of Latori after experiencing a significant failure. In a land where science is overshadowed by whimsical mystical beliefs, Roui faces conflict when he accepts a commission from a local baron. However, his life takes a bizarre turn when the enigmatic spirit known as the Mad Rook begins to disrupt the lives of the townsfolk, including his own.

As players navigate through three planned chapters, they will experience character-driven stories and unique interactions with a wide array of inhabitants, including the anthropomorphic Sahash race.
