The story mode takes you to a city of cat-worshippers, in a campaign inspired by Studio Ghibli. You are an itinerant quilter aiming to rise in the city’s hierarchy and to outwit a rival who seeks to dominate both humans and cats. Create quilts, hone your craft, and help people you meet on your journey. You won't be alone—friends and, especially, cats lend invaluable aid along the way.

Cats are active participants in every game. They wander the board, observe your design, curl up for naps, and sometimes venture into your quilt. You can interact with them: pet them or gently shoo them away if they disrupt your process, making cat-spotting a delightful strategic twist.

Extended customization options let you tailor your experience. Create your own cat by naming it, choosing fur color, and dressing it in outfits. This custom avatar can appear on the board, and you can swap portraits and backgrounds for players to suit your taste.
