The book drains humanity’s negative emotions, summons monsters from other worlds, and can demonize ordinary people. To prevent catastrophe, the book is ultimately sealed within the Shadow Temple.

Story

The protagonist is dispatched to investigate a castle corrupted by the book’s influence and uncovers the hidden truth behind the Book of Shadows. The book is stolen by magic mercenaries of the Magic Star Society, triggering a chase that leads to revelations about a cursed entity known as the Dark Star. As the Dark Star is demonized, the hero learns that two powers behind the Book of Shadows are playing a larger game. With the aid of the successor of the ancient archmage, the protagonist breaks the barrier of the Book of Darkness, reaches the Demon King’s hiding place, and uncovers the deeper motives and truth behind the ancient conflict.

Gameplay
