Following the worldwide craze of Critter cards, this latest entry expands the experience with a focus on collection, strategy, and progression across shifting adventures.

Collect hundreds of illustrated cards and store them in your binder, then build a flexible Battle Deck that mixes Critters, Skill cards, and passive Stickers. Each Critter brings its own stats, abilities, and a web of Weaknesses and Resistances, so assembling a balanced team is key. Energy is earned by using weaker Skill cards and spent to unleash stronger ones, while Skill cards only work for Critters of the same element—making thoughtful, element-aligned team choices essential.

Deck construction is a core lure of Isle of Swaps. Swap cards with characters you beat to broaden your options and customize your battlefield on the fly—no limits on swapping duplicates. Stickers grant passive bonuses, but equipping rarer Critters can constrain how many Stickers you may use, so you must balance Critters, Skills, and Stickers to push for victory.

Progress through Challenges by selecting one of three map cards. If you’re feeling lucky, unflipped cards award money you can spend on Booster Packs to expand your collection. A victory in a Challenge adds the cards from your current battle deck to your permanent Master Binder, letting you customize the starting Critter in future runs.

Isle of Swaps emphasizes long-term strategy with Master Binders and Master Decks. Build your decks from the Master Binder to tackle the Critter Championship—the toughest fights demand careful planning. Each run is composed of three areas chosen from six, and can be played in any order, so no two journeys feel the same.
