In this crisis, salvation rests with the Solamnic Knights, fearless warriors who ride into battle on the backs of noble dragons—the good dragons of Krynn. Soar above cities, deserts, and battlegrounds as you answer the call to defend the land from a spreading shadow and to turn the tide of a war that rages in the skies.

From a first-person viewpoint you face a spectrum of airborne threats: rival dragons, hostile ships, floating castles, and other flying fortresses that litter the air. Dragons strike with talons, fangs, and devastating breath, while riders counter with dragonlances and a growing arsenal of magical items earned by completing dangerous missions. The struggle rewards precision, timing, and smart use of the sky’s currents, letting you weave through enemy formations and break their lines with daring maneuvers.

Progress through three orders of Solamnic Knighthood and you’ll unlock bigger, more powerful dragon mounts. Each promotion grants enhanced speed, resilience, and control, letting you saddle ever mightier beasts and execute bolder tactics. The bond between rider and dragon deepens as you train, upgrade, and tailor your mount’s abilities to your preferred playstyle.

DragonStrike offers more than twenty missions designed to test your aerial mastery and strategic thinking. Every mission challenges you to combine flight discipline with magical craft and weapon use, deciding when to strike from above, when to retreat, and how to leverage terrain to your advantage. The equipment you choose—dragonlances and enchanted items—shapes your approach, enabling explosive attacks, precision hits, or defensive scrambles when the skies grow hostile.

The world is a fractally-generated 3D environment that brings to life a living sky realm: jagged mountains, rolling plains, imposing castles, sanctuaries in the clouds, and a network of flying citadels. The generation process creates varied, vivid landscapes on every flight, inviting exploration and sudden, unpredictable encounters as you traverse Ansalon’s aerial theater.
