Baron Samedi, a spirit of the dead, has trapped your wandering band of toads in a cursed bayou and forces you to confront the evil that festers here. Survive the swamp's threats, overturn the curse, and rally your toad crew to reclaim your homeland.

This is a tactical deckbuilder where you must outplay waves of minions by planning movement and card play on a grid. Build a powerful deck by pairing tactical movement cards with combat cards, deploy traps to gain the upper hand, and harness vodou power through Veves to tilt battles in your favor.

Choose between 3 playable Toads, each with distinct traits, bonuses, and weaknesses that shape your strategy in grid-based combat. Along the way you’ll recruit allies to inhabit and upgrade your Tavern, unlocking unique abilities and joining your quest. Your base becomes a hub for gathering powerful cards, traps, and Veves that amplify your vodou-inspired power.

Progression and replay

Each run unfolds across three different islands with new combat encounters, ensuring a fresh challenge every time. Permadeath means careful long-term planning is vital, but you’ll earn meaningful upgrades at the end of each run to carry into the next attempt.
