The Caribbean Sea is your grand sandbox: dozens of islands and cities, hidden temples, jungles, pyramids, and lost cities. On land you’ll encounter Indian tribes, ruins, caves, and diverse settlements—from taverns and shipyards to forts, churches, and brothels. Build a colony, participate in treasure hunts, and test your luck in gambling as you push deeper into a web of opportunity and danger.

Your career options are as varied as the map: become a general-governor, pirate baron, or any path in between. Build influence, command respect, and command a fleet that mirrors the Age of Sail. Start with a modest sloop and climb to ships of the line or even a fleet capable of shaping the fate of cities you conquer or defend.

Naval power is at the heart of Caribbean Legend. Customise, paint, upgrade, and repair your vessel as you engage in unforgiving combat at sea, including dramatic boarding actions from the upper deck to the captain’s cabin. Manage a crew, distribute booty, maintain morale, and beware mutinies that can threaten your command. You can also command fast frigates or corvettes for freer, exploratory sailing when you seek calmer seas.

On land, danger is intimate and personal. Bring companions, outwit rivals, and use strategy, poisons, and terrain to your advantage. Face off against thugs, soldiers, and rival factions in tense battles.
