Chronocide description

Game Description: Chronocide

Chronocide is an exhilarating action-packed game where players face an endless horde of undead foes. Your mission is to shoot, burn, crush, and creatively eliminate these enemies using a variety of traps and weapons as they attempt to breach the temporal portals. With an emphasis on strategy, you can deploy traps to cleverly grind down your adversaries on their way to destruction.

The game features a campaign mode that can be experienced solo or in cooperative play, accommodating up to four players. As you progress through the levels, you can earn up to five stars, which translate into points for upgrading heroes, traps, and weapons. Each hero possesses unique abilities—ranging from elemental damage with Waldis the wizard, to melee prowess with Rolanda the paladin, and spellcasting with Anthia the necromancer.

Chronocide embraces challenge; if you struggle to beat a level, you can retry or switch to a casual difficulty setting. The game is currently in early access, with plans for continuous content updates, expanding the number of traps, weapons, and enemy types throughout its three-act main story arc. Enjoy a unique soundtrack by Malin Eriksson as you dive into this indie developer's love letter to physics and tower defense mechanics.
