Dreamslayer is an ambitious student project developed using Unreal Engine 5 at Swinburne University of Technology. As part of the Diploma of Information Technology: Game Art and Design and Game Programming, students collaborate in teams to create a game from inception to public release.

Step into the shoes of Argeniton, a holy warrior who has ascended to a majestic dragon form. As a demon invasion threatens your realm, you find yourself trapped in a chaotic realm of nightmares. The game's setting is an epic fantasy, featuring fast-paced hack’n’zap gameplay in a swarm arena format, complemented by retro aesthetics.

Your journey takes you to confront the fearsome Demon Lord Xondadus in his floating citadel of Cazardia. Stripped of your dragon abilities, you must face relentless waves of enemies in a desperate bid to reclaim your power. Only by defeating the hordes and confronting Xondadus can you break free from this nightmarish existence and ascend to your rightful place among the gods.
