RUINED description

RUINED: A Challenging Exploration RPG

RUINED is an exploration-driven RPG that pays homage to classic NES legends. In this captivating world, monsters are swarming every day, but the night never truly ends until you either sleep or perish. As night approaches, the enemies grow stronger, compelling you to act quickly. Defeating monsters rewards you with seeds to cultivate your own army, allowing you to enlist defeated foes as allies in your quest.

Embark on a journey through a vast array of biomes and uncover over 150 unique maps as you traverse the mysterious mountains. RUINED challenges players with its old-school difficulty reminiscent of titles like the original Legend of Zelda. Without the crutch of a minimap or explicit tutorials, your exploration is entirely up to you. Solve problems creatively while forging an allegiance with over 30 distinct monster types, and watch your ranks swell into the hundreds or even thousands!

As you search for lost companions to rebuild society, you'll earn new items and weapons essential for survival. The game features a distinctive retro, hand-drawn pixel art style and an original soundtrack with over 25 unique tracks, enriching your adventure every step of the way. In RUINED, the world transforms subtly with each playthrough, ensuring that there are always new secrets waiting for you to unveil.
