Everything changes when he encounters Lena, a vulnerable orphan girl from Belarus, sold by her caregiver for food. Slava faces a harrowing dilemma: he must choose between sending her to a migration center for deportation or killing her on the spot. Torn by compassion, he hides Lena in his home, but the challenges escalate as he grapples with the fear for his own life and the weight of keeping her existence a secret from his wife.
