In Shorticulture, you awaken to a mysterious energy surge and uncover a solitary child frozen in a stasis pod, left behind when their people escaped to the stars ages ago. Your mission is to guide two maintenance robots, known as Pylonauts, to repair interstellar gateways and reunite the lost child with their kind.

As you traverse abandoned worlds rich with intricate puzzles, you will scavenge for energy and resources. Switch between your robotic characters to collaboratively unlock paths and overcome various challenges. Engage with the environment through a series of mini-games that let you hack doors, terminals, and machinery, creating a deep connection with the narrative. Manipulate levers and movable objects to further immerse yourself in the experience.

Be wary of ancient defense systems that activate upon your arrival, as they pose a threat to both you and the child. Utilize a short-range teleport system to navigate perilous situations, adjusting your strategy as needed.
