Onyx invites players into a vast and vibrant world where you own and cultivate your own piece of land. Set in the expansive regions of Hyalen, you can explore diverse environments such as forests, mountains, and villages, each filled with quests and resources waiting to be discovered. Unlike many crafting games, Onyx offers the freedom to manage your time without the pressure of a nighttime sleep cycle.

With detailed character customization options, you can create a unique avatar to navigate your journey. Gather resources by mining trees, rocks, and ores, or delve into farming as you grow and process various plants. Animal husbandry allows you to breed and raise animals, while crafting opportunities let you create tools, weapons, and clothing to aid in your adventures.

Interact with NPCs, fulfill their quests, and build your reputation to unlock new challenges and events such as zombie invasions or festive market days. As you progress, you can summon mounts for easier travel and unlock a variety of abilities. Onyx is currently under development, with an alpha release scheduled for late 2024, promising exciting expansions and updates in the future.
