Leaden Sky: Nightmares is an early access, linear single-player first-person shooter horror game that serves as a prequel to the original Leaden Sky. Set in a chilling atmosphere, the game captivates players with its intriguing storyline and finely crafted gameplay mechanics.

Gameplay

The game features a robust combat system, allowing for fluid melee attacks with an axe, where every swing connects with precision. Players can seamlessly dodge attacks and counter, resulting in intense and satisfying encounters. Firearms come with a procedural recoil system that accurately simulates bullet spread, challenging players to improve their aim.

Players will face aggressive and unpredictable enemy AI, creating unique experiences with each playthrough. Thanks to a dynamic patrolling system, encounters with enemies can occur in unexpected locations, resulting in a horror experience devoid of cheap jump scares.

Story

Players take on the role of Kyle Anderson, a half-Polish U.S. veteran who leaves the army behind for a quieter life as a security guard at a power plant in Poland. This facility harnesses experimental technology inspired by Tesla's prototypes. However, as strange electrical phenomena begin to manifest and unsettling tales circulate among locals, Kyle’s tranquil existence spirals into nightmarish territory.
