Harmoni: An Open Source Rhythm Game
Harmoni is an open-source rhythm game developed using Lua and Love2D, designed for rhythm game enthusiasts. This game currently features a simplistic setup where players can utilize the DFJK keys to tap along to the beat. Although it comes with a single song presently (a catchy royalty-free tune), players can look forward to a significant update that will enhance the gaming experience tremendously.
One of the game’s standout features is its compatibility with Quaver’s song format, allowing users to import their own music. To do this, players simply need to right-click and export songs from Quaver, unzip the files, and drag them into Harmoni's Music folder. Accessing this folder is easy; just press F2 in the song selection menu.
For those interested in expanding their music library, additional songs can be downloaded by pressing F1 in the song select menu, which will redirect players to a Google Drive containing various song packs. While the game is currently a work in progress, it promises to evolve with future updates and an enriched song collection.
