Dirty Rotten Bounders invites players into a vibrant and challenging world with three distinct levels of difficulty: Easy, Ok, and Ouch. To conquer a level, players must complete a series of 15 boards, each designed as a 9x9 grid of colored tiles. The player, represented by a cheerful smiley character, moves across these tiles using a joystick or arrow keys.

The primary objective is to change tiles to the player’s color while enclosing opposing tiles to score points. Successfully flipping tiles increases your score based on the number of tiles enclosed. Boards feature various adversaries called chasers that attempt to collide with the player, leading to a loss of life when caught.

Strategic gameplay includes utilizing teleportation tiles for quick escapes and collecting power-ups after defeating chasers. These range from extra lives and protective shields to super-speed enhancements. Players must also navigate hazards like flame-breathing chasers and rotating saws, adding layers of excitement and challenge.

To complete a board, players must eliminate all chasers, ultimately releasing a final adversary known as the destroyer—which threatens to consume the board. Master each board and advance through the levels to achieve the highest score!
