Manahex: A Strategic Card and Board Game

Manahex is an engaging fantasy-themed card and board game designed for 2-4 players. Compatible with online gameplay, it allows for both quick sessions lasting 10-45 minutes and asynchronous matches. The game combines elements of traditional trading card games with a dynamic board setting where players control their mages and resource management occurs on a hex grid.

At the start, a random hex map is generated, and players select their unique decks to guide their mages. During each turn, players can navigate their mages to adjacent hexes and gain control over them. The hex colors indicate the type of mana produced, which is crucial for card play. Players can summon spells, creatures, and structures to enhance their strategies, with players starting at 12 HP—eliminated once reduced to 0.

With four distinct types of mana—Dusk, Light, Rust, and Moss—players can construct their decks from over 100 cards, using a built-in editor or preconstructed options.
