Overview: Star Scum is an engaging deckbuilding card battler that combines tactical gameplay with ship-to-ship combat. Players take turns managing their command points to deploy cards, units, and ship equipment, strategically balancing between offense and defense. The unique layout of each ship defines its capabilities, such as movement and power limits, making positioning critical for victory.

Roguelike Mode: In singleplayer roguelike mode, players begin with a basic deck and a small ship, journeying across a procedurally generated map. Each battle allows players to defeat opponents, collect their cards, and enhance their decks. Players can upgrade their ships and engage in additional quests that involve transporting dangerous cargo for extra rewards. Boss decks challenge players at every stage, adding layers of difficulty and unpredictability to each playthrough.

Multiplayer Mode: In the competitive multiplayer mode, players construct custom decks from the entire card library and engage in ranked online battles, ensuring an even playing field with shared credits for ship upgrades. There’s also a local AI battle mode for practice, allowing you to generate decks against customizable opponents.
