GameArtopia is an innovative virtual playable archive that showcases Catalan, Latin American, and international Game Art. This first-of-its-kind catalog highlights the creative use of gaming and video games by renowned artists within the art community, focusing particularly on contributions from Catalonia, Spain, and Latin America.

The archive aims to map the diverse territories where Game Art has made an impact, fostering connections with global communities, collectives, and institutions actively engaged in this artistic framework. In the spirit of collaboration with the Arsgames initiative, GameArtopia uniquely utilizes gamification strategies, appealing to new audiences while enhancing relationships with art collectives, museums, and related organizations.

Developed using Godot Engine software, the game invites players to embark on a first-person exploration of an enchanting island. Here, you can collect cards that represent over 50 stunning works of art inspired by video games. Players have the opportunity to delve deeper into each work in their inventory, where they can uncover rich information about the pieces and their creators, thus enriching their understanding of Game Art.
