Don't Forget is an immersive 3D single-player game that takes players on a poignant journey through the effects of dementia. Awaken in a place that feels familiar yet disorienting, your only companion a journal that serves as an anchor to your past. As you navigate through various environments, your mission is to recover fragmented memories by solving brain-stimulating minigames and piecing together your personal narrative.

With each exploration, you will uncover the truth about your identity and the challenges posed by your condition. The game invites you to confront the disorienting nature of dementia, where the line between reality and memory begins to blur, highlighting the emotional weight of losing touch with one’s sense of self.

Designed by a talented team of six students at Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, during an intensive 11-week project, Don't Forget aims to create a unique and reflective gaming experience. Special acknowledgments are given to composer Frédérique Le Duc-Moreau and poet Eve McIntosh, along with supervisors Tristan Clarysse and Dave Van Verdegem, for their invaluable contributions.
