Evergreen: Cacti Expansion description

Evergreen: Cacti Expansion

In the Cacti Expansion for Evergreen, players will discover a unique challenge as they cultivate rapidly growing cacti in their biomes. These resilient plants thrive on sunlight, making light exposure crucial to their survival. If cacti are left in the shadows at the end of a Season, they risk dying.

Integrating cacti into your strategy introduces new elements to the core gameplay. Biome cards featuring the Plant Cactus Power now carry two Negative Fertility icons. If a biome card marked with these icons remains unselected after the Draft phase, it moves to the Fertility Zone, decreasing the corresponding Biome's Fertility value. This can bring the Fertility level below zero, impacting your overall strategy.

The activation of the Plant Cactus Power allows players to place a Cactus pawn from their pool into an available space in the chosen Biome. This unique ability highlights the delicate balance between utilizing sunlit spaces and managing Fertility, making the Cacti Expansion an exciting addition to your Evergreen experience.
