Step into the eerie world of Unknown Rules, an independently developed first-person horror puzzle game designed for solo players and up to three friends. Awakening in a mysterious location, your mission is to uncover the chilling reality surrounding you. As you delve deeper into the game, you learn about a lurking creature and discover that previous visitors have left behind cryptic messages.

Your survival hinges on resource management; harness items from your 8-compartment backpack and two pockets effectively to maintain your endurance and rationality. Collect medicinal supplies to stay sane and functional drinks to regain energy and fend off menacing creatures. Adaptability is crucial, as random events, such as teleportation, can change the game's dynamics at any moment.

The game features a single map, Level 1: School, an unsettlingly abandoned institution with 29 classrooms. Each classroom holds secrets and the potential for revealing messages from past inhabitants. To escape, you must gather clues and solve various puzzles ranging from simple to complex, often requiring cooperation among teammates.
