Iterations was crafted during a 26-hour hackathon by a diverse team of seven individuals, aiming to explore the capabilities of Unreal Engine while testing a compelling core game mechanic. Although this game is a standalone experience, it serves as the inaugural chapter in a broader narrative arc, anticipated to expand based on player interest.
Experience side-scrolling gameplay set in a quaint town and its serene park, featuring multiple indoor locations and a cast of engaging characters. The game employs a unique Groundhog Day-style narrative structure, allowing Cara to learn and discover new elements with each cycle of the day. As she interacts with her environment, she encounters obstacles and opportunities that evolve with her choices. With nearly 200 lines of dialogue and numerous branching options, players can delight in the rich storytelling and intricate interactions that propel the mystery forward.
