X-Plane 12 Add-on: Aerosoft - Helgoland description
Aerosoft - Helgoland for X-Plane 12
Discover the breathtaking scenery of Helgoland, Germany's only island in the open sea, through the highly detailed Helgoland XP add-on for X-Plane 12. This immersive experience features the stunning East coast of the islet "Dune," where historical sand dunes have given way to dramatic coastal landscapes. The Helgoland-Düne airfield, known for its extremely short runways, is densely packed with realistic features such as current airport buildings, a restaurant terrace, and transparent tower windows.
Helgoland has transformed into a significant maintenance hub for offshore wind farms, complete with a dedicated helicopter maintenance pad. Pilots can navigate their helicopters to various transformer stations that offer unique landing opportunities amidst dynamic weather conditions. The add-on includes up-to-date aerial imagery, custom vegetation, and animated ship traffic, ensuring a vibrant environment. Key enhancements in the X-Plane 12 version include optimized orthophotos, revised lighting, and fully compliant seasonal effects.
With features such as detailed offshore wind farms, landable vessels, and animated ground traffic, the Aerosoft - Helgoland add-on presents a thrilling aviation adventure like no other.
