Trainz Plus DLC - SA CL Class - QR National Pack description

Trainz Plus DLC - SA CL Class - QR National Pack brings to life the iconic CL Class locomotives operating under QR National, with a focus on authenticity and detail. Originally built in the early 1970s, these robust locomotives were developed for the demanding Trans-Australian Railway service, showcasing exceptional power and performance.

Featuring the distinctive QR National livery, this pack includes the CLP 06+ variant, adorned in the recognizable yellow, black, and maroon ‘Eagle’ design. These locomotives boast a powerful EMD V16-645E3C engine, enhanced with a total output of 3,300hp, allowing for a maximum starting tractive effort of 98,700lbs.

The pack offers an immersive experience with a range of detailed features, including:

  • Full PBR Texturing for realistic visuals
  • A highly detailed custom cab with a scripted Combined Power Handle
  • Animated doors and windows for added realism
  • Illuminated number boards and light toggles
  • Custom sounds, including dynamic brake and traction motor sounds
  • Coupler flag toggles and blinds functionality

Thanks to the contributions of talented individuals in locomotive scripting and physics, this DLC brings the legacy of the CL Class to the forefront of Trainz, providing a rich simulation experience for enthusiasts.
