Sid Meier's Civilization® VI: Persia and Macedon Civilization & Scenario Pack description
Sid Meier's Civilization VI: Persia and Macedon Civilization & Scenario Pack invites players to engage in an epic historical conflict led by the legendary figures, Alexander the Great of Macedon and Cyrus of Persia. This expansion allows for a dynamic gameplay experience where Macedon focuses on military conquest through unique abilities and units, while Persia excels in cultural and economic growth, as well as surprise military actions.
As Alexander, players can utilize the "Hellenistic Fusion" ability to gain tech or civic eurekas based on captured cities' districts. His unique unit, the Hypaspist, replaces the Swordsman, boasting extra bonuses in support and siege. The Basilikoi Paides, his unique building, enhances training of melee and ranged units and grants science bonuses.
Cyrus brings the Persian civilization to life with the "Satrapies" ability, which offers free trade routes and enhanced yields from internal trade. His unique unit, the Immortal, has a bonus ranged attack and excels in defense. The Pairidaeza improvement generates culture and gold, boosting adjacent districts over time.
The included "Conquests of Alexander" scenario challenges players to replicate Alexander's legendary conquests within a limited timeframe, emphasizing strategy and military prowess. New wonders, such as the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus and the Apadana, further enrich the gameplay experience, making this expansion a must-have for strategy enthusiasts.
