Begin your journey in town, equipped only with rags or perhaps some initial riches, shaped by a custom character backstory. The Warrior class is particularly suited for newcomers, providing a solid foundation for battle. As you progress, gain experience and enhance attributes like strength, intelligence, wisdom, constitution, and charisma while acquiring a variety of spells, weapons, armor, and legendary artifacts that influence your journey.

Each level transition saves your character checkpoint, facilitating a seamless experience with persistent saves across game versions. Enjoy the freedom of exiting at any time, creating helpful mid-point saves. Use the revolutionary CTRL-Z feature to rewind actions up to your last checkpoint, learning from your mistakes.

Discover a unique town with individualized shopkeepers and item preferences, using scrolls of Word-Of-Recall to return to the deepest parts of the mines.
