Max, an Autistic Journey is a heartfelt retro-style top-down turn-based RPG that invites players to step into the shoes of Max, a ten-year-old boy navigating life with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Developed by Stéphane Cantin, a devoted father, this game is a collaborative creation inspired by his son and aims to provide insight into the unique challenges faced by individuals on the autism spectrum.

Players will explore a world that feels both familiar and alien, confronting imaginative monsters that represent real emotions and anxieties. Engaging in classic turn-based battles, players will employ creative weapons and abilities to tackle these challenges. The game includes various mini-games, such as picture puzzles and racing, allowing players to gain experience points through imaginative toy battles and by facing their fears.
