Petrifica is an engaging 2D action-puzzle game that revolves around the intertwined fates of two protagonists, Suneis and Lunamia. Cursed by a witch, one character is destined to turn to stone at all times, presenting unique gameplay challenges. Players must expertly navigate the treacherous forest filled with traps while utilizing both characters' abilities.

Switching between Suneis and Lunamia is essential to progress through the game. When a character is not active, they become petrified and invincible, allowing players to strategically employ this ability to overcome obstacles. Each character possesses distinct skills that are vital for solving puzzles and advancing through various levels. The strategic interplay of switching and utilizing their strengths becomes critical in tackling challenges.

However, the curse of Miraban creates emotional weight; attempting to lift it would transfer the curse to the other. As a result, communication between Suneis and Lunamia is limited, though players can still engage with their thoughts using the “Talk” command. This adds depth to their bond amidst the challenges they face. Compatible with game controllers, Petrifica offers a unique blend of action and emotional storytelling.
