Simple Duel: Game Overview

Simple Duel is an innovative rock-paper-scissors style fighting game currently available in Early Access. Players engage in fierce battles by simultaneously selecting their moves, bringing a unique twist to traditional combat mechanics. Before each match, participants choose from eight distinct weapons, each with its own health, energy, move set, and combo capabilities, allowing for a range of playstyles.

Upon entering a match, players can opt for various formats including default, rounds, or lives. During gameplay, you have 30 seconds per turn to strategize and make your move. The combat system is designed in a rock-paper-scissors manner: offensive moves counter neutral moves, neutral moves counter defensive moves, and defensive moves counter offensive moves. Players must manage their health and energy levels carefully as moves come with specific energy costs.

The game also features Practice mode, where players can clash against diverse bots, perfect for honing skills. Unique to Simple Duel is the tempo system, where successful turns enhance your fighter’s abilities, allowing for energy boosts and healing opportunities.
