She Could Fly: Documentary Escape Game description

She Could Fly: Documentary Escape Game is an innovative point-and-click escape game that intricately weaves together comics, documentaries, and gaming to address themes of OCD and anxiety. In this engaging lo-fi experience, players find themselves trapped in a flat, needing to solve puzzles and make decisions to escape. The journey is guided by Tiger Orchid, a charismatic narrator portrayed by Shaniqua Okwok, known for her roles in Small Axe and It’s a Sin.

This game draws inspiration from the acclaimed comic written by Christopher Cantwell, who has firsthand experience with OCD, and illustrated by Martín Morazzo. The artwork featured in the game is taken directly from the comic, published by Berger Books under the direction of renowned editor Karen Berger.

Developed with input from those who live with OCD, alongside collaboration with scientists and organizations like OCD Action, the game aims to promote a deeper understanding of mental health issues. She Could Fly is created by Wowbagger Productions in partnership with Two Tails Studios and Oubliette Escapes. Funded by organizations such as the Academy of Medical Sciences and Arts Council England, this not-for-profit game seeks to shift perceptions around OCD and mental well-being.
