Abyssal is a captivating 3D turn-based strategy game where players step into the shoes of Archivald, a Monk adept in arcane magic. Tasked with confronting monstrous, Eldritch-like beings, Archivald is not alone; he commands a host of loyal minions to aid him in battle. The narrative unfolds between two brothers, Alaric and Archivald, who are poised to take the reins of their cult. However, driven by ambition, Alaric betrays his brother, leading to a violent clash that forces Archivald into exile.

Now, Archivald seeks to resurrect his fallen allies and exact revenge against Alaric, who has formed an alliance with dark, abyssal entities that plague their city. Players will experience immersive turn-based combat from a dynamic 3D isometric perspective, commanding a variety of characters including Mages and special units like the Cauldron. Use powerful spells to navigate the treacherous depths of the Abyss and reclaim your rightful place. Developed as a senior project at DigiPen Europe-Bilbao, this game blends strategy and rich storytelling for a unique gameplay experience.
