Azure Archipelago is an immersive survival game featuring two distinct modes: Story and Sandbox. In Story mode, players assume the role of Alex Ramph, who embarks on a mission to save his friend's company, Vernix, from being shut down by a global government. Set against the backdrop of a once-abandoned archipelago, players explore over 30 diverse islands, ranging from frozen wastelands to lush jungles and volcanic deserts, eight years after a catastrophic incident forced their evacuation.

In Sandbox mode, players are free to unleash their creativity. Customize gameplay using mods and built-in modulators without compromising on fun. These modulators allow for exciting changes like flight, creative building, or even tougher challenges by disabling respawning. Collaborate with friends in local multiplayer or join servers for a larger experience, accommodating up to 12 players.

Resource management is crucial as players craft, hunt, explore, and strategize their survival. Engaging gameplay mechanics include managing health, hunger, thirst, sleep, and body temperature. With plenty of technological advancements available within the game, players can enhance their experience and unlock new opportunities as they traverse this dynamic world.
