Floating with Spirits description
Floating with Spirits
Immerse yourself in a cinematic virtual reality experience that transports you to the mystical mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico. Follow the journey of two young Mazatec sisters, Jocelynne and Jaquelyne, as they explore their vibrant village nestled among ancient Ceiba trees and life-filled rivers. Guided by the teachings of their shaman grandmother, they recount enchanting stories that weave the rich tapestry of their ancestral knowledge and unique cosmogony.
As they prepare for the Day of the Dead, the sisters share tales of their ancestors, welcoming the spirits of their loved ones back into the world of the living. Surrounded by the flickering light of candles and the fragrant Cempasuchil flowers adorning altars, players step into a world where the boundaries between the living and the spiritual blur. A shamanic dance ritual opens a portal to the realms of four nature spirits, each ready to unveil its secret, fostering a deeper connection to ancestral Mazatec wisdom.
Experience this beautiful and urgent vision of the world, emphasizing the importance of re-evaluating our relationship with nature in today's society.
