Floodcore invites players into a mesmerizing puzzle adventure set in a richly detailed, flooded world, where you will uncover the secrets of an ancient civilization. As a player, you will harness a unique mystical power that allows you to swap positions with specific objects in the environment, enabling an array of creative puzzle-solving possibilities.
Developed over eight months by a team of five French students as a graduation project, Floodcore offers 15 to 30 minutes of engaging gameplay, tailored to those with a flair for puzzles and spatial reasoning in a 3D setting. Each area within the game expands upon the swapping mechanics, presenting challenges that encourage players to think several steps ahead or explore multiple solutions to puzzles.
From the temple's serene surface to its intricate underground passages and a lush garden, every zone is uniquely designed, fostering a captivating atmosphere. Players can also pause and soak in the tranquil sounds of waves, birds, and waterfalls while contemplating their next move in this enchanting journey through an ancient, submerged world.
