Doomba description

Welcome to DOOMBA

Ever imagined being a Roomba navigating through the vastness of space? DOOMBA makes that fantasy a reality as you step into the role of a cleaning robot on a haunted cargo ship. This sci-fi cleaning simulator adventure, developed using Unreal Engine 5, immerses you in a uniquely engaging environment where you must not only clean but also investigate and eliminate the source of a mysterious infection threatening the ship.

Guided by a witty and snarky ship AI, you'll traverse through various challenges, collecting tools and upgrades to enhance your cleaning capabilities. Navigate through intricately designed levels, but keep your wits about you—space can be a treacherous place, and danger lurks around every corner.

DOOMBA is the collaborative effort of a talented three-person team, MJR: Malachi Franson (Level Design, Programming, Tech Art), Joshua Watson (3D Generalist), and Rees Jackson (Environment Art and Materials). This project serves as their Senior Thesis for the Game Art program at Ringling College of Art and Design, showcasing their dedication and creativity in the realm of gaming.
