Eschalism description

Eschalism

In Eschalism, step into the role of a Paramita officer on a harrowing quest to uncover the mysteries of a shadowy cult while searching for your missing wife. Set in a dystopian alternate history where Indonesia never gained independence under the oppressive regime of the Verenigd Oost Indische-Kyōdō Tō (V.O.K.), the game immerses you in a world where the Netherlands and Japan jointly dominate.

As you navigate through surreal landscapes defying the laws of spatial logic, you will face horrific manifestations of primal human fears borne from the cult's sinister ambitions. With a richly detailed environment reminiscent of House of Leaves, each twist and turn reveals unsettling secrets that challenge your perception.

Experience dynamic combat that fluidly transitions between isometric and first-person perspectives. Engage in strategic battles where resource management is crucial, and every shot matters. Eschalism weaves a gripping narrative of identity, loss, and the dark consequences of human ambition, drawing inspiration from classic cosmic horror and psychological thrillers. Prepare to confront your fears in this haunting journey.
