The objective of Tower of Megami Descents is to construct a towering Ascension Tower while striving for an impressive score. Central to the gameplay is the pursuit of maximizing the goddess's pleasure, which in turn rewards players with valuable Goddess Coins. The level of pleasure experienced by the goddess directly correlates with the player’s score, enhancing the overall experience.
As players stack their tower, every 10 layers triggers a skill selection screen, offering a choice among three randomly displayed goddess skills from a total of six. This strategic decision-making is crucial, as some skills provide effects that persist until the next selection, while others last until the game concludes. Players will discover various appearances of the goddess throughout the game, with different visuals presented during skill selection, at game’s end, and as players reach new heights.
