Train Sim World® 5: BR Class 31 Loco Add-On

Step back into the 1950s and experience the iconic BR Class 31, a crucial element of British Railways' modernization efforts, in the Train Sim World® 5: BR Class 31 Loco Add-On. This add-on allows players to operate the versatile Type 2 diesel locomotives, designed for lower-priority passenger and freight services. Initially entering service in the Eastern Region, these locomotives expanded across England with the introduction of the TOPS classification system.

The standard Class 31/1 model, equipped with steam heating boilers and headcode displays, provided reliable performance even in pairs for freight duties, making it a favorite among operators. With a total fleet of 263 locomotives, their operation spanned multiple depots, including Thornaby Depot, where they dominated the Tees Valley Line.

This add-on features the BR Class 31 in the classic BR Corporate Blue livery, partnered with a PCA Cement Tank Wagon. Players can expect highly detailed driving cabs, authentic sound recordings, and accurate performance. Included are three engaging scenarios plus an interactive training session for the Tees Valley Line. Experience the thrill of this legendary locomotive with the robust SimuGraph® vehicle dynamics engine and Unreal Engine 4® technology.
