Train Sim World® 5: Sand Patch Grade Route Add-On

Experience the thrilling challenge of freight hauling in Train Sim World®: Sand Patch Grade. This add-on features a 52-mile route stretching from Cumberland, Maryland to Rockwood, Pennsylvania, navigating the rugged Allegheny Mountains. Since its inception by the Baltimore & Ohio in the 1870s, the Sand Patch Grade has served as a vital east-west route, with a climb from 627 feet at Cumberland to a summit of 2,258 feet.

Players will face the heavy tonnage of CSX traffic, including coal, grain, oil, and intermodal freight, all serviced by powerful diesel locomotives like the AC4400CW, SD40-2, and GP38-2. The driving experience is crafted using Dovetail Games’ advanced SimuGraph® engine and Unreal Engine 4®, offering a true-to-life performance and handling.

Choose your gameplay style: operate trains, manage switching duties in Cumberland Yard, or simply enjoy the scenic route. With over 24 hours of activities in Journey Mode, detailed training modules, and scenarios to complete, along with the Livery Designer and Scenario Planner, there’s ample content for every train enthusiast to explore and share.
