LOCUS POKER description

Locus Poker Overview

Locus Poker is an engaging head-to-head strategy card game where skill reigns supreme over luck. Designed for two players, it offers the opportunity to challenge seven computer opponents of varying difficulty levels or face off against a human player either in-person or through Steam's Remote Play Together feature.

In this game, players compete on a grid of shuffled cards laid out face up. Each player starts with colored poker chips equal to half the number of cards in the grid. The gameplay involves players strategically placing their chips on unplayed cards and deciding whether to play them face up or face down. The goal is to achieve the highest cumulative score through calculated decisions.

The scoring in Locus Poker involves two components: the "hand score," based on the best poker hand formed from the chosen card and adjacent face-up cards, and the "bonus score," which depends on the proximity of a player's previously placed chips. With clear rules and a simple learning curve, Locus Poker promises fun for both newcomers and seasoned players alike. Enjoy a game anytime, anywhere!
