Along the Edge

Along the Edge is a captivating visual novel set amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the European countryside. The story follows Daphné, a woman who feels trapped in her personal and professional life. Upon inheriting an old family house in a secluded area, she sees a chance to reinvent herself and explore new possibilities. Players are faced with choices that significantly impact Daphné's personality, mood, and appearance, leading to various narrative outcomes.

The game boasts an adult and slightly occult atmosphere, enriched with over 450 hand-drawn full-screen illustrations featuring 20 distinct characters and more than 400 different variations and attitudes. Players will experience an expansive story with around 80,000 words, equivalent to a 400-page novel, offering substantial depth and engagement.

With 60 different endings and 28 achievements to unlock, each decision alters crucial aspects of the plot, including six possible endings, four variations of Daphné's destiny, and three romantic paths. Every choice shapes not only Daphné’s journey but also the fate of those around her, making each playthrough unique and immersive.
