Combat Journals - Vietnam description

Combat Journals - Vietnam

Experience the intense reality of the Vietnam War in Combat Journals - Vietnam, a game set in September 1966, as the 4th Infantry Division arrives at Camp Enari in the lush Central Highlands of Vietnam. Players assume the role of a Recon Specialist from Headquarters Company, mastering vital skills such as search and destroy missions, patrolling, and setting ambushes. Join an elite LRRP team and engage in classified intelligence operations that take you beyond Vietnam into Cambodia.

Developed in Unreal Engine 5, this game promises unparalleled realism and immersion. The single-player campaign can also be enjoyed with up to five friends in co-op mode, ensuring an engaging experience as you navigate missions throughout the treacherous environment.

The game's missions draw inspiration from authentic After Action Reports and the accounts of Vietnam veterans, aiming to provide players with a unique insight into the challenges faced on the battlefield. Explore meticulously crafted jungle landscapes, equipped with period-authentic weaponry, while dealing with the perils of limited visibility in dense foliage. With its minimal UI and attention to detail, Combat Journals - Vietnam delivers a poignant tribute to the legacy of the 4th Infantry Division and those who served.
