Step into the hauntingly beautiful universe of Just a Lullaby, a captivating 2D pixel art adventure that intertwines a surreal narrative with strategic gameplay. Set over the course of a single night, players must navigate through an invasion of alien rats and face the challenges posed by various monstrous entities born from a mysterious curse.

In this demo, you will lead Mel, the first brother, as he traverses diverse environments including the cemetery, unnamed lands, gazebo, wild lands, and garden. Mel has a unique ability—his large nose produces sticky mucus, which can be enhanced by collecting tissues throughout the journey. The adventure begins with the ghost girl, Missy, who frees Mel from a tree cage and gifts him his first tissue.

As you guide Mel, you’ll encounter the first Vendor, a tough character who trades a black key for three bags of coins held by monsters wearing green crowns. With this key, Mel can engage with the Falconer, who tasks him with obtaining three additional keys from another group of monsters for upgrades. Your exploration includes collecting essential items like the kite, Mac, which provides an extra life, while combatting various monsters and restoring energy through food dropped by defeated foes.
