The Patient is an indie atmospheric horror puzzle game that immerses players in a chilling experience reminiscent of the classic PS1 horror aesthetic. You assume the role of Dr. Ellen Reed, a certified therapist returning to work at Bliss Park Medical on the night of October 3, 1994, after maternity leave. Unbeknownst to her, impending doom looms as she is assigned an unexpected overnight shift by Dr. Evander Walsh.
Haunted by severe storms that resulted in a power outage and the loss of medical records, Dr. Reed is thrust into a night filled with uncertainty. Her mission is urgent: identify and euthanize an infected patient among ten quarantined individuals in Block 3, all affected by a deadly experimental drug. Exploring the dimly lit psychiatric section, she must navigate throughout the night, keeping the patients' cell lights off, as flickering lights create disturbing shadows.
Equipped with a computer full of crucial text files and the need to unlock a file room for critical information, Dr. Reed faces a race against time. Players will use various tools to uncover clues about the afflicted patient and ultimately confront a horrifying fate. Will you unravel the mystery in time?
