The game transports players to a vibrant world overshadowed by the oppressive Pizza Corps, which has replaced authentic, handmade pizza with their "cheap and efficient" pizza-in-a-can. One determined chef sets off on a mission to reignite the joy of traditional Italian cuisine.

In Pizzapocalypse, players assume the role of the chef, utilizing their pizza as a unique tool to dash and bounce across rooftops while battling pesky robot minions. The game features explorative gameplay centered around one expansive level, divided into three beautifully crafted areas. Each area offers multiple paths to discover and presents its own unique gameplay challenges and visual styles.
