Beyond Hanwell Soundtrack

The Beyond Hanwell Original Soundtrack, composed by James Elsey, takes listeners on a haunting auditory journey through the eerie world of Hanwell. This collection builds upon the unsettling atmosphere established in the original game, featuring an innovative centerpiece: the Esoteric Machine. This terrifying electro-acoustic instrument produces deep, spine-chilling sounds through dark percussive scrapes, plucks, and bowing on metal.

To enhance its unnerving ambiance, the soundtrack fuses these unsettling textures with aggressive, distorted synths and evocative orchestral strings. Notably, the album revisits familiar themes from the original game, presenting them in fresh and unique iterations. A standout element of the score is the captivating vocal performance by Shila Vikström, which adds an extra layer of depth to the listening experience.

Every track is meticulously crafted from the original game loops, transforming them into a comprehensive musical experience. Mixed and mastered for clarity, the soundtrack offers both fans of the game and new listeners a chilling insight into the world Beyond Hanwell. All proceeds from the soundtrack support the composer directly, making it a worthy addition for any gaming soundtrack enthusiast.
