Misanthropy description

Misanthropy

Explore the poignant tale of White Moon, a girl marked by solitude and emotional turmoil. Born introverted and fearful, she navigates a childhood filled with the discord of her parents' constant quarrels and impending divorce. Overwhelmed by feelings of neglect and bullying, both intentional and unintentional, White Moon internalizes her suffering, believing that her timid nature is the root of her woes.

As she watches her childhood friend, Zhou, receive affection from a loving family and enjoy the camaraderie of friends, jealousy festers within her. Similarly, she envies Su Youhuang’s seemingly perfect family life and the openness of her playmate, Tang Yiren. However, life's complexities soon reveal themselves; as they all mature, each character faces turbulent changes in their own lives.

In a profound twist, White Moon discovers that her peers also harbor hidden struggles and that what she once perceived as a life without challenges was merely a façade. Misanthropy intricately weaves the threads of envy and misunderstanding, illustrating that everyone carries their own burdens, ultimately leading to a deeper understanding of shared human experiences.
