Portrait of a Cornish Woman description

Portrait of a Cornish Woman

Set against the stunning backdrop of Cornwall's picturesque landscapes, Portrait of a Cornish Woman follows the story of Sophie, who becomes captivated by the artistic and alluring Emma, her host's sister. What begins as a seemingly innocent visit gradually evolves into a profound exploration of suppressed emotions, deep camaraderie, and a love that challenges the strict boundaries of Victorian society.

As their connection deepens through shared activities like sketching and baking, Sophie and Emma find themselves entangled in the complexities of societal expectations and personal desires. This Victorian Romance Visual Novel of Manners delves into the subtle yet intense emotions experienced by two women striving for love and acceptance within a world steeped in duty and tradition.

Featuring beautiful anime-style artwork and an evocative piano and chamber orchestra soundtrack, Portrait of a Cornish Woman invites players to immerse themselves in a touching narrative that questions whether love can thrive in an environment laden with discretion and convention.
