At the game's outset, players are assigned secret roles, creating two opposing teams: the good guys, who aim to vanquish the Boss, and the bad guys, who strive to keep him alive and eliminate the good players.

Equipped with a standard 6-sided die, players will explore the board to gather items, bonuses, and additional dice, all while the Boss wields a powerful 100-sided die. Moving strategically around the board is crucial as you aim for bonus squares to enhance your capabilities before confronting your adversaries. The Boss is assisted by four formidable lieutenants offering him bonuses.

Among the bad guys, players may encounter unique characters like the Reaper, Puppeteer, and Marc, each with their own nefarious abilities. Meanwhile, the good guys are powered up with characters like the Hero and Urgle, ready to face the challenges ahead.
